The Pharisees brought a woman before Jesus who had been caught in adultery.

They wanted to stone her (which was allowed in the law of Moses).

Jesus said to them, “Let the one without sin throw the first stone.”

When they heard this, they went away one by one.

And Jesus said to the woman, “Has no one condemned you?

Then neither will I. Go and do not sin again.

Here Jesus is clearly unwilling to condemn a sinner,

even one caught in the very act of sinning (according to the law).

Do you have this kind of compassion?
